Network Connection

ReadySight robot navigates rocks, rugs and all sorts of indoor and outdoor terrain.

November 22, 2021

Your ReadySight™ robot comes with all of the connectivity of a modern smartphone, including GPS, wifi, and bluetooth right out of the box. You don’t need to do anything other than open the box, turn it on, and install the app.

The ReadySight robot only stores video internally as a backup, everything is saved to the cloud as it is being recorded. This allows us to keep the robot completely sealed, and it means you don’t need to mess around with data cards.

It was very important to us that these robots were simple to use out of the box, without needing to connect to a bunch of other networks and services. That includes access to cellular data networks.

The price you pay includes unlimited data access. If you’re a first responder on our Responder plan, this includes access to the first responder LTE networks. These are networks built specifically with first responders in mind. Your ReadySight data and video will be prioritized over all other consumer traffic.

So even if Instagram is having a really busy day, your video stays crisp and clear, no matter the environment you are in.

The power of the LTE networks means that the sky's the limit. We may soon have the ability to add intelligent recognition capabilities to the video feed.

Our goal with the ReadySight robot was to build something that was easy to use and uncomplicated, that extends to how it interacts with networks.
